Follow-up to BioShock, 2K Games critically acclaimed and commercially successful 2007 release, BioShock 2 is a first-person shooter set in the fictional underwater city of Rapture. As in the original game, BioShock 2 features a blend of fast-paced action, exploration and puzzle-solving as players follow varying paths through the overarching storyline based on the decisions that they are forced to make at various points in the game. In addition to a further fleshing out of the franchise’s popular storyline, players can look forward to new characters, game mechanics, weapons, locations and a multiplayer game option.

The Story Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster–somehow familiar, yet still quite different from anything ever seen–has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city. It is a Big Sister, a new denizen of Rapture who was once one of the forgotten little girls known as Little Sisters who previously inhabited the city’s dank halls.
No longer a pawn used to harvest ADAM, the dangerously powerful lifeblood of Rapture, from the bodies of others and in turn run the risk of being harvested herself, the Big Sister is now the fastest and most powerful thing in Rapture. You, on the other hand are the very first Big Daddy, similar to the Big Daddies familiar from the original BioShock, but also very different. The question is as you travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city beneath the waves, hunting for answers and the solution to your own survival, are you really the hunter or the hunted?
Gameplay Although full gameplay details have yet to be released, is is known that in BioShock 2 players will take on the role of the original Big Daddy, not that of the original series protagonist, Jack. As a Big Daddy you will have access to most, if not all the strengths and weapons of a standard Big Daddy, as well as others such as free will and a new relationship to Little Sisters that although allowing for the familiar choice as to whether to harvest or adopt them, creates a different dynamic between characters. In addition, the game will feature new plasmids, weapons, the ability to combine these two and much anticipated multiplayer modes including: Free-for-all, and Team Death Match.
Key Features
- The Big Sister – No longer just something to be harvested or not, the Big Sister is the most powerful resident in Rapture.
- You Are the Big Daddy – Take control with the original prototype Big Daddy, and experience the power and raw strength of Rapture

5 Stars The Best First Person Shooter Ever Produced!~!
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is the best shooter game ever made; If you like, enjoy and value; (1) Realistic small arms warfare engagements, headshot is a headshot. (2) Advanced Customization of your online character that will affect your play because you can decide how much, and where to place different types of anti-ballistic armor. (3) Being able to use active duty small arms weapons used by special forces all over the world ! Pistols, Snipers, Machine Pistols, Light Machine-Guns, Shotguns and the most commonly used, Assault rifles. The assault rifles are quite mathematical in this game as, they each have unique recoil patterns after being shot, put a 6x scope on yours to experiment!
I havent been able to play this game, because i scratched the R6V2 disc, and i like this game so much, now that i cant play it, i dont even play xbox360, because this is the only game worth playing, if you are all about hardcore realistic shooting game, play HIGH STAKES if you have true skill!
Don’t miss out on this game, COD and halo cant compare because they arent realistic, they are made for kids, this isnt a childrens game , as there is much blood, especially when you get headshots, buy this game for sure!
If you don’t have xbox live, this game is still replayable and will last long, if you do have xboxlive, your good to go!
5 Stars Awesome Shooter!!
Excellent first person shooter with a great storyline and the multiplayer terrorist hunt modes are awesome!! Highly recommend!
5 Stars Most fun I’ve ever had in a shooter
I never played the first Rainbow 6, I just jumped into this one. All I can say is R6V2 is the best shooter I’ve ever played. The single-levels are super challenging in either lone wolf, team, or online modes. The control is superb. Using cover in this game is better than in any other game I’ve played. I have a lot of fun playing this on XBOX 360. I used my XBOX camera to apply my own face to the character on-screen, some people apply bogus pictures to their characters such as T-800 or Darth Vader, pretty creative fun little extra. If you liked any Tom Clancy, SOCOM or COD game, you might like this one best of all or at least as much. Plus, as with most Tom Clancy games, there are TONS of great FREE dlc available.
3 Stars A relatively solid game.
I didn’t really have a problem with the game. Then again, I did like Army of 2, so take from that what you will. I will tell you the main reason why I did dig Ao2, is the 2 player co-op. I never played the solo story, which I am going to assume much of the fuss originated. Me and my brother usually kick the snot out of co-op games together, such as GoW, Ao2, and this game.
What I really dig about this game is you get to create your dude, fully customize him, etc. You get to pick your weapons, much like Ao2 but without the intricate customization. Furthermore, it even plays like GoW and Ao2, but without productive blind-fire, unless you are blind-firing close-quarters with a shotgun. Unlike Ao2, using silencers and whatnot is actually useful. Me and my brother by the end of Ao2 just went ahead with the pimped weapons and dropped our silencers because it made little difference in the gameplay. Having the option to go either way was good. I’m more of the silent type anyhow.
I don’t know what to say other than I really enjoyed the game. The thermal vision somewhat skews the depth perception, almost like looking through a funky lens and… Maybe as it should be, depending on how close the enemy is will determine if he picks up on the thermal scan or not.
Really, the only big beef I have with Vegas 2 was “faux pause.” I’m really surprised nobody mentioned it, but all pause does is bring up the menu while the game still runs in the background. I considered that the utmost of pathetic, you pause and get up for a second, coming back to find you died. It’s sad to think you have to be in some kind of “dead zone” to pause the game. This is where my rating comes from, since there is no kind of “breaking from the game” without the risk of a game over.
Other than that, I digged it.
5 Stars Vegas2!!!!
I’ve liked this game since the first one it has longer campaign and some changes in gameplay like sprinting, and ranking up just by playing the campaign… Good game overall online is just as fun great multiplayer maps and their free!!!
