5 Stars Excellent, better than expected…
I plugged these bad boys in and started playing a game with my user playlist in the background. These are a hell of a pair of headphones. The sound was crisp, the bass was lovely and I was immediately satisfied with my purchase. After that trial, I decided to play a game of Gears 2 Horde mode. I heard every blast, snarl, step, etc. from every angle, it felt like I was actually there. Amazing. On one of the levels I could even hear the frogs as if they were right next to me. I was going to get the X4’s at first, but I’m happy I downgraded at the last minute and saved myself the $80. There are people complaining about a hiss noise, but like any pair of sneakers, that problem is easily solved by turning the volume down to a reasonable level. The only problem I see is that there are tons of cords, It’s not a problem for me b/c of how I have my set up, but I can see how it would be a problem for others.
I recommend these headphones 100%
For gaming. For music listening. For life.

I love the headset, but the long cord is easy to trip over. Ours is broken already it pulled loose from the headset and now have trouble hearing.
3 Stars Awesome sound quality, Great mic, but still has a couple major flaws.
Got this great headset for christmas, and was amazed. First of all, these are the most comfortable speakers of any kind i have ever worn on my head. padding everywhere, everything just fits perfectly. Now for sound. Left 4 Dead, (by the way, a fantastic must-have) was taken to a new level with constant, loud surround sound. Bose over-ear headphones, you know, the $300 ones? this thing kicks Bose’s @$$. Seriously.

After a while of playing, i drop the headset from about 1 foot off my carpet flooring, and it hits my spare xbox controller. no biggie with the cheap little one-speaker mic the xbox comes with, but with the beefy $50 dollar X1s? THE LEFT SPEAKER FREAKIN FALLS OFF!! That should NOT HAPPEN!!
In summary, here we have the..
Pros:
-extremely comfortable, even through hours of playing
-perfectly tuned sound
-crystal clear mic
-runs on power from the xbox (no replacing batteries)
Cons:
-can be hard to hear voice chat on xbox live when game volume is loud
Really important cons:
-NOT FOR USE WITH THE PLUG AND PLAY CHARGE KIT THING!!!! USE WIRED CONTROLLER, AAs, OR ALWAYS HAVE A BATTERY CHARGED AND READY!!!! (theres a loud, annoying buzzing noise unless you do that)
-BREAKS EASILY!!!! 2, 2mm plastic prongs hold each speaker on to the rest of the headset, and the whole thing is useless with a speaker just dangling from the side!! BE CAREFUL!!!
and by the way, turtle beach’s help and support service is… pretty much nonexistent.

4 Stars Great headset for the price
This is definetely one of the best headsets you can get for the xbox 360 and pc. Yes, it can work for both your xbox and your computer games. I love to play call of duty 4 with this headset because it allows you to hear your enemies way before they can see or hear you. Great advantage for those contests where every edge counts. The only nusiance is the wire its only one really long wire. Sometimes it gets tangled up and annoys me but it definetely worth it because there are reports that the wireless ones make a buzzing sound and they require batteries. I highly recommend this headset to everyone looking to play with an edge and without disturbing others like you parents in my case.

Positive:
- Very long cords
- Works great with my XBox 360
- Has inline hookups so that you can still play audio through your speakers and headphones at the same time. This is only a benefit if you are playing alone because if you playing with others on XBox Live, you will have the headphones on.
Negative
- Doesn’t work at all with my Vista laptop (Dell Precision M90). I thought I might be able to get rid of my USB Logitech headphones and use only this product, but that didn’t work out. Now, I still have two sets of headphones.

it does it’s job… you will need this if u HDMI display doesn’t have speakers or you want digital out (optical) from the xbox to connect to your 5.1 (or 2.1, or 7.1) system.

So I wanted to use Optical Toslink cable along with HDMI, well guess what? I can’t! why you ask? MS made the A/V port so close to the HDMI port it’s impossible to use them both because of the huge plastic square on the A/V cable. Microsoft then tries to sell you on more cables that will allow you to use both HDMI and A/V so you can use your toslink cable, otherwise you can only choose either to use A/V with component or HDMI with sound bound to your tv speakers. SHADY MOVE! this is what makes the PS3 a better buy after its all said and done, at least Sony doesn’t make you buy tons of accessories just to use what the system was designed to do.

First they want $99 for a wireless adapter, then another $50 just so you can hook up your audio to optical out on your receiver. Purposely designed to suck more hard earned money out of your wallet. These inflated price items are a joke. HDMI cables are cheap. The one Microsoft one is too short for my needs anyway. Since there have been several versions of the 360 why not build in the wireless feature and design the plugs so they all fit or put an optical out port on the back? Could it be greed?

Nowhere in the description of this does it tell you it does NOT work with the Original XBox 360.
The dongle that this gives you does NOT have an HDMI connection on it. This product assumes you have an HDMI port on your XBox. The only XBox 360’s that have an HDMI connection are the Premium and the Elite.

5 Stars Works Great and Cheaper than buying the actual windows controller.
This is just what I needed. I have the 360 controllers and I wanted to use them on my computer games. There is a windows 360 controller, but it costs a lot more than this device. My force feedback wheel also works with this. You need to unplug your XBOX 360 first before you try to connect your controller to this device. and then push both reset buttons the one on the controller and the one on the device. Thank You

This thing is awesome, I plugged it in, sync’d the controller, and seconds later I was playing Far Cry 2 (all the buttons already set up). The xbox controller reacts just as good as it does with the 360 – movement with analog sticks was great too.

I originally got this for emulators. when you finally get it working.. it works just fine. but this item is not user friendly. after dozens of google questions, many different installation guides, and 2 or 3 3rd party programs I got it working..
5 Stars Ideal for emulators
Awesome, works perfectly. It couldn’t have been any easier to install in my Dell Inspiron 530s running XP Media Center 2005(which outputs to my 60″ HDTV). Just load the drivers, plug it in, sync the controllers…viola, the computer recognizes a new controller.
The syncing works the same way as on the 360 itself. You press the sync button on the device, wait for it to blink, then do the same on the controller.
I use it exclusively for emulators and it works flawlessly. Of course, you have to map the buttons in the emulator software, which is annoying, but you’d have to do that with any controller.

Hooked up to the correct TV or PC monitor and set to the native resolution of the monitor this cable is just as good or better than a HDMI cable. Drastically sharper picture vs a component cable especially for 720p TV’s.

I originally had my Xbox 360 hooked up through component but my HDTV only has space for one component connection and I needed to hook up my cable box to it so I decided to purchase the VGA cable. I have an Olevia 232T and I think the image is clearer and brighter through the VGA cable than through component. I know some people complain about “wash-out” but I felt the image was much more vibrant and vivid through VGA. If you think the image is too bright, you can always turn down the brightness in the game. Great cable and great picture for the price!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that along with the VGA cable they included and RCA-to-headphone adapter so you don’t have to go buy one. They also included a VGA male/male adapter so you can attach multiple VGA cords together if the one they give you isn’t long enough.
Can’t go wrong purchasing the real deal from Xbox. Yeah, sometimes it’s a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

This package came with everything I needed to use my desktop setup with my 360. the audio and video quality are excellent and it was easy to setup. The only complaint I have is that the cable is quite short at about 3′ so if your speaker input is far away from your monitor it could be a problem. Other than that it’s a great buy.

I am not going to go into detail because you can search for the information yourself. The reason it didn’t work for one of the previous reviewers is that you have to extract the key from your previous xbox drive and flash that onto your new drive (aka spoofing). You also need to flash your drive to be able to read xbox 360 games. Please google for more information, don’t just insult the product because you didn’t know how to use it.
5 Stars Great dvd drive
For those of you who are wondering how to replace your 360 dvd drive its very easy. I had a samsung and I bought this and switched it out, and it works fine. You just have to make sure to switch out the the circuit boards inside the drives, from your old drive to your new drive. It has a ‘key’ on it that identifies with you xbox. Other than that your good to go. This is a great buy. Oh yeah, and you don’t need to flash your drive to get it to work just switch the boards…doesn’t matter if its a firmware version 25 or 28 it will work.

i bought this, put it in my xbox 360 and it doesnt read my disks. It says “to play this disk put it in an xbox 360″ i dont know if im doing something wrong or what but i am really pissed off. it reads dvds and not games and my friends are tell me that it is because it was made just for dvds and not for games. so if anyone knows what to do help. please

There are some less expensive choices than this cable, and many much more expensive. This one is better built than most, with a thicker cable. It also has larger grips for the plugs, so make sure you have about 3″ clearance. The cool red accent color sets it apart.
CNET tested HDMI cables and found no performance differences. Basically, it is digital in, digital out. The “certified” cables are indeed tested, but maybe those not tested would perform the same.

5 Stars Works great
I got this controller today, and it’s the best controller I’ve ever bought. The wireless lets me put my PC on my HDTV and play games from afar instead of being stuck with a short cable. It’s very responsive and there is no delay. Although many people here reported having problems with conflicting wireless devices, I’m using this with a wireless Microsoft mouse and they have no conflicts (I’m also using the 1.1 drivers from Microsoft’s website, not the drivers from the CD that came with it). Many games work great with this and the integrated support that’s already in newer games like Crysis, Left 4 Dead, and GTA IV is just going to get better. It’s extremely comfortable and it fits right in your hand. The combination of two shoulder triggers and two shoulder buttons is genius and it integrates with any game perfectly.
My only problem with this is that the only way to power it down is to let it turn itself off after a time of inactivity or taking out the battery. It would be nice if it powered off like a regular 360 controller hooked up to a 360, but it doesn’t bug me too much.
Either way, this is a great controller, and if you want to go wireless, this is an excellent solution.

I play alot of shooting and role playing games from windows. This controller save me the hassle of changing my settings on the keybroad to my liking. it’s simple to use too. if you have vista you might don’t have to install the software. i got lucky and didn’t need too. you can also use this controller with your xbox as well. two things for the price of one, you can’t beat that.

The game is pretty good, but it took a long time to be shipped even though I did free 2day shipping it took over a weak and I was charged $3 for shipping, so I wouldn’t go with the company that sent me the game.
4 Stars Works as advertised
Installed on a 32-bit XP system. Have to use 3rd party software for some games, but otherwise works perfectly. Switches b/w xbox and pc. Battery life is dubious, but I picked up some Sanyo rechargeable here on Amz and they’ve taken away most of my headaches.
This thing is more solid than most el cheapo game pads I’ve used. Worth ponying up the extra $15+ to know that it can take some abuse.
Dongle is retarded, and I’m not entirely convinced that you can’t just buy the dongle (~ $18 on amz) and use an existing xbox controller (if you have one), but don’t quote me on that.
Have not tried in Vista or xp x64 yet.

PROS: Many options with the Xbox 360 controller for controls
WIRELESS! It’s every gamers dream to own the best controller on the market
CONS: Why five feet long for the USB receiver? the size of a USB Flash Drive is all I need (or anyone for that matter); My controller doesn’t turn off, so I have to uninstall the battery back and clip it back in for the controller to stay off (I already tried push and hold the XBOX button down to turn it off and it didn’t work)
A little bit more for your information, this controller does NOT have *OFFICIAL* drivers to work on mac, so you will have to look up third-party developers’ MAC drivers for the xbox 360 controller (and they work too, trust me). Overall, I don’t see why anyone would need a $100 controller to play their games. PS3 and XBOX 360 use controllers just like these (in terms of size) and deliver a fantastic experience.
You’d be doing yourself injustice to pass this controller up.

I bought this 15ft HDMI cable not long ago. The shipping was fast, literally 3 day shipping. I connected it to my HDTV and to my new PS3 console. I have watched 3 movies, and played about 10 hours of video games, and the cable has been working perfectly so far. I compared its quality against my Monster cable I use on my HDTV-HD Cable box. I couldn’t find a difference in sound nor picture quality. But, I am not a HDMI guru…so maybe you might find a little difference, who knows…but, what I can tell you is that this is A GREAT DEAL!

When buying an HDMI cable you must watch to make sure it is high speed, digital shielded & the length is compatible with the cable your purchasing.
The further apart your TV is from your player can play a role in the picture quality. this cable is very high quality and the price is excellent. Used and tested on a xbox 360 and a blu ray player . both pictures are crystal clear.

5 Stars The Best $75.00 I ever spent
I got the remote yesterday when I got home from work. aside from having to use a chainsaw to get into the package i have nothing but good things to say about this remote.
the instructions were easy to follow and it took about 15 mins to be up and running. i tested it out several times and the tv function wasnt working so i hit help and tried again and it worked. then the remote asked me if this fixed it. i said yes and it works perfect now.
When i replace my TV and DVD player and add a stereo i will reprogram the remote and now that i know how easy it is i wont second guess the process and it will only take about 2 mins to set up. it took the most time finding the model #’s on the products.
I have never spent more than $10 on a universal remote. but i decided it was time to take the plunge and get an expensive one, and man did i make the right choice with this remote.
I am on on-line shopper and this is the first review i have ever written on a product.

5 Stars Excellent solution for my problems
I’ve been through a lot of remotes, including an older Harmony. This one perfrectly met my needs, and now I can actually put the other remotes in a drawer. My system has a Toshiba HDTV, Sony receiver w/HDMI switch, Moto/FioTV cable box, and Xbox 360. This remote does everything I want to do, and was very easy to set up. My only complaint is that I wish the transport buttons were easier to identify in the dark.

This remote is awesome! I initially purchased it because I was tired of not being able to control my 360 and TV volume from the same remote. The harmony remote works great with our two 360s and has no issues going between them (they are in different rooms). Even better, I just set up my Roomba on the remote!
Would definitely recommend this remote, especially over the basic 360 remote.

This is an excellent remote. I’m probably not a “power user” (I only use it for 3 “activities”), but it does everything as advertiesed. I especially like it for watching NetFlix movies through my XBox 360. It’s a lot easier to pause/stop/rewind using this remote than with an XBox controller. Setup is easy via the included USB cable. My only complaint, and it’s minor, is the small number buttons. But even that doesn’t stop me from giving it 5 stars.

I was skeptical at first especially since I had bought an $80 HDMI cable to go with my new 61″ Samsung TV. I waited for this cable to arrive then compared the picture (didn’t care about sound since I was using the optical input) by swapping the cable. I spent an about an hour comparing the two cables and could not tell between the cables. The cable appears to solidly built and of good quality. Its bandwidth rate of 10.2 Gbps is higher then most of the “High end” HDMI cables on the market. Needless to say the $80 HDMI cable was returned and I’m going to buy at least one more of these cables to go with the PS3 I’m about to buy.

I bought 2 Mediabridge cables to connect my PS3 and cable box, and both broke within a month. Don’t buy those things….they’re terrible! Picture and sound quality was fine for a while but they’re connectors are really flimsy where they connect to the wire. This cable was far superior in it’s construction (at least from the outside). The connectors are far more flexible where they meet the cable itself and don’t feel like they’re going to start make crakling noises when they bend a little. That was the last sound I heard when those Mediabridge pieces of junk broke. Both the picture and sound quality with these cables is perfect, especially on BluRay. I cannot imagine that a $100 cable could possibly perform any better. We will see how these hold up, but I am very happy with the quality of this cable so far. One thing that isn’t shown in the picture are two cylindrical clip-on things attached towards each end of the cable. I think they help avoid inteference, but I’m not sure. They must be good for something!
