4 Stars Cheap alternative…
I purchased the black rechargeable battery to match my elite controller. My fault was realizing that this doesn’t come with the play and charge cord but it was no biggie since I already have one for my other controller. I opened the package an plugged it into my controller and immediately plugged in the cord to charge it. The light on the charger went red then green then blank. I plugged it into my other controller to no avail. After some troubleshooting on xbox.com, apparently some of these batteries are faulty. No biggie though, I ordered a replacement from Amazon at no additional charge. They work really well and if you play allot they are much cheaper than buying bucket loads of AA’s.
2 Stars Great, for a while
These are great, but as mentioned before, they die. I’ve had three, all different colors, and they all stopped working. Do not buy. Just use regular rechargeable batteries.
4 Stars Limited Lifetime
Apparently Amazon thinks this is battery pack is a game, haha…
Oh well… the pack is good… But won’t last forever… mine lasted about a year and a half.
5 Stars It certainly beats AA batteries
I bought this to replace my last rechargeable battery pack. Convenient product at a great price.
5 Stars Great battery pack
This batery pack works great. At least with this I can easily charge mine while I’m playing without ever handling batteries.NINTENDO CAN’T EVEN MATCH THIS!!!Microsoft beats Nintendo anyday.

The silencer pads are great. Sometimes you get really excited when playing this game. The pads help to protect the drums. Anyone who purchases Rock band 2 should immediately purchase the drum pads.

2 Stars Broken after 6 months
I bought 2 of these, after about 6 months, one of the battery won’t charge anymore, so it has to be plugged in all the time while playing. The other one’s charging light doesn’t work anymore, so you can’t tell if it’s charging. They both still work… but I’ll have to get new ones soon.
5 Stars Easy to Use
This are pecfect no more baterys and I can charge my 360 controller when i am playing.
5 Stars Worked as advertised
This product did what it was supposed to do, charge the battery pack while I played and allowed me to continue playing wirelessly after unplugging it when the battery was fully charged.
3 Stars It works…sometimes!
Ok, let me start by saying this. IF the charger works with your controller then this is a nice to have BUT (seriously, there has to be a but to this because it’s Microsoft) the Play and Charge kit doesn’t work with all 360 controllers! I have no idea why but the black controller that came with my Elite didn’t work at all with the Play and Charge kit. The charge light will turn red for about 30 seconds then turn green indicating a fully charged battery when in fact its not charged at all. Luckily, I had a buddy who’s black controller he bought separate DID work and so traded me controllers. Problem solved…I guess.
2 Stars Very handy… For a few months
I enjoy the ease of use, it is convenient to just plug it in to recharge the batteries.
Unfortunately two out of three of my battery packs died within 6 months of purchase, which means they are only usable while plugged in. As such, I have returned to using rechargeable Energizer batteries, which are cheaper and more reliable (as long as you keep a few extra pairs on hand in case you run out of juice mid-game).
If you’re a gambler, you might as well pick up at least one Play & Charge kit for the sake of convenience, but keep in mind that it costs as much as four AA rechargeable batteries and a charger.

5 Stars It is a controller…
It is a controller. It is new. I have heard of some funky things where if you disconnect the headset and reconnect the HS will not work until the box is rebooted. The one that I got works well including the D pad.
5 Stars Black 360 Controller Wireless
This Products Was Like Brand New And As Described Worked Great No Problems At All.
4 Stars More show than anything.
This is the default Xbox 360 wireless controller with some awesome Halo 3 artwork slapped on.
This is an excellent edition to any Halo 3 fan’s collection, however, one must note that the controller itself is more of a “show-off” item rather than an actual game playing one.
The top plate of the controller has a smooth, glossy finish with the back side being of a normal matte finish, like the regular controller. The problem I have with the controller is that the glossy finish gets in the way of intense gaming. Sweaty hands may create a slippery or sticky surface, especially after long hours of gaming.
I recommend this controller only for diehard Halo fans, but not the regular and/or hardcore Xbox 360 fan. Any other game player should stick to the default Xbox controller.

4 Stars Good, but has some serious flaws to address.
The overall layout of the controllers is great, it’s easy to use, and all the buttons and analog sticks are in the best spots they could possibly be in. It’s extremely comfortable, my hands have never hurt even after playing for many hours.
The only drawback is the battery life, durability and keeping it clean. I have rechargeable batteries for both of my controllers and it seems the need to be recharged every 5-6 hours. They’re suppose to last 8 hours, granted I have owned the batteries for almost two years now, and rechargeables tend to lose their charge over time. I’ve gone through about 3-4 different controllers in almost 2 years because of durability. If you drop them head first the bumper buttons are likely to never work again, this is a very common problem. The analog sticks also get so worn that they don’t response very well. You’ll notice this once the sticks become harder to move or start to make a squeaking noise. They also don’t repel dirt very well. I’ve noticed they get dirty after only a couple weeks, this goes for the black controllers too.
Overall, these controllers are great. I just wish they’d fix the main issue I have, which is durability. I have to get yet another controller because my left analog stick is squeaking now and is a bit harder to move. And you pay $40-$50.
5 Stars GREAT product!
I received my ‘refurbished’ wireless controller sooner than the estimated delivery date. That reason alone is why I buy through Amazon. I sincerely do not believe that this product was refurbished. It is 100% flawless and had all of the stickers that normally come with a brand new controller. Either way, the product works flawlessly and was bought at a great price. I recommend doing business with this outlet. =)

1 Star Doesn’t work with 256mb Memory Card
I bought this product to go with my 256mb memory card. It says that it works for 64mb and 512mb cards, but evidently it doesn’t work with 256mb cards…
5 Stars Availability of this Product in a Local Retail Store – Denver, Colorado?
Heya,
I cannot seem to find this product in a retail store in Denver, Colorado.
Any ideas?
I have tried the usual stores big and small.

3 Stars Works on Vista, but not as useful as I thought.
I’m writing this mainly to report one thing: This works on Vista.
Otherwise, It’s pretty straight forward. Use it to back up your memory card (and contained profiles, saveames, DLC, etc.). It does NOT let you view any said DLC, etc. That’s it.
I bought it to back up my save games in case “someone” accidentally overwrites my existing hard work. So far I’ve not needed to pull any restores, but I feel safe knowing my savegames are safe, and for $10 you can’t go wrong.
Other people have used more complicated software downloaded from the internet to hack their card images. You can do that too I guess, but as I’m not interested in cheating, I’m not interested in hacking the savegames.
1 Star Disappointed
It wasn’t clear in the description that this product cannot save hard drive files directly. You cannot use the product to tranfer files from the Xbox hard drive onto your computer for transfer to another Xbox hard drive.
4 Stars It does work with 512 MB memory cards
The product works with 512 MB memory cards, and it works with Vista. You have to download an update already mentioned in a previous review from the maker’s web site. It saves the complete image of a memory card and restores it the same way. I’m only interested in making copies of my own saves because some day that 360 hard drive is going to fail. It works just fine for that purpose, but they should have included the necessary software with it.
