5 Stars Drum ALL DAY!
Yep, I been beating the living daylights out of these drums and they work great for both Rock Band and Guitar Hero! I love them and the fact that you can make it work on a table if need be and easy portability to play at a friends house.

5 Stars Rock Band drums are a hit… get it?
I don’t want to work. I want to bang on the drum all day. Well with that musical interference aside, these drums are awesome. The main thing I would change if I could would be the ability to rotate the drum set toward you more. The ability to move the slightly angled drums up and down doesn’t cut it.

Great product. How do people break the foot pedal? I play bare foot, so that’s probably why I haven’t broken it. So, I recommend playing barefoot, because it might break otherwise. The people that have broken it seem to be very rough with it.

5 Stars Tons of Fun
We received this package very fast. I was shocked and so was my son!! He loves his drum set and he saved his own money to buy this. He is 11 years old and has become a very avid drummer!! I reccommend this drum set to anyone!! The drum set was new and well worth the money. Package arrived undamaged and like I said FAST..

4 Stars rock band ROCKS
Sure I will get many hours of real enjoyment out of this product, couldnt be happier

3 Stars Quality seems hit or miss
I am an old school Rock Band’er that still has all of the original RB1 instruments – I was also one of the people who had to ship their entire instrument set back one-by-one to EA for all the various issues with their initial production run. After that first initial swap however, my drums worked like a champ for at least a year – mostly because I used the guitar and mic the most, the drums just sat there gathering dust. After about two years, now playing Rock Band 2, I finally decided to really try out the drums. Well, within about four months of playing the drums, my drums broke.

First went the foot pedal – the bridge of the actual pedal just broke right in two. This part was replaced by a third party Rock Pedal, and I’ve had no problems yet – unfortunately this one single foot pedal cost $75 by its lonesome.

Second, the yellow drum pad started to split around the center hole where the sensor lays. Once that area started to crack, the sensor soon followed.

Enter: the first drum replacement (April of 2009). First I was glad that Amazon was selling these RB1 drums – $30 was a heck of a lot nicer than $80-90 for the RB2 wireless ones. At first glance, these drums looked exactly the same as my original drums. Unfortunately after a week of drumming, the red pad started registering every other hit. I popped the pad off and found that the sensor was only half screwed on. This meant that the screws were loose from the factory. However, tightening this screw made everything ok.

May of 2009 and the green drum pad started registering hits very sporadically. Then eventually not at all. Pop the drum pad out this time and found that the soldering point where the wire fed into the drum pad had failed and one of the wires was completely disconnected and broken. The fact that this happened on the green drum pad – the pad that’s probably used among the least amount in the game – tells you how little use it took to break the wire.

June of 2009, I get my third drum set from Amazon. Maybe this one will last a little longer. For reference, I play mostly on Hard and a couple of easy songs on Expert.

Fallout 3 Game Add On Pack Operation Anchorage and The Pitt

Requires Fallout 3 to play. The Pitt Description: The Pitt allows you to travel to the post-apocalyptic remains of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and become embroiled in a conflict between slaves and their Raider masters. Explore a sprawling settlement ravaged by time, neglect, nuclear radiation, and moral degradation. The Pitt is filled with morally grey choices, shady NPCs, new enemies, new weapons, and much more. Story: The Pitt opens with a desperate radio message, and a meeting with its sender, an escaped slave named Wernher. Wernher claims that the leader of “The Pitt” has created a cure for mutations… and he needs you to go in and retrieve it. From there, the player can proceed in a number of ways, in true Fallout 3 style. Do you fight your way in, or disguise yourself as a slave? Ally with the slaves, or join their Raider overlords? Operation Anchorage Description: Operation: Anchorage. Enter a military simulation and fight in one of the greatest battles of the Fallout universe – the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders. Gain access to unique armor, weapons, and exotic gadgets while you build and command interactive Strike Teams to win the battle and defeat the Chinese base. In Operation: Anchorage you will re-live the epic Battle of Anchorage from Fallout lore. Find your way into the simulation, stripped of resources, and survive within the rules set up by the simulation

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars June 2009 and no Jasper!
Pros:

+ Cheapest current gen system on the market

+ Huge library of great games (many of which can be had for cheap these days)

+ 6 (5 arcade + Sega Tennis) free games, all of which are good enough in their own right

+ Can be upgraded easily (Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive, HDMI Cable 6FT: 1.3a Category 2(Full 1080P Capable)(Compatible with Xbox 360 & PS3), Xbox 360 12 Month Live Gold Card, Xbox 360 Wireless Headset, etc) to give the full premium experience if you decide you want it eventually

+ Console itself smaller, less bulky than I thought it would be

+ Motion controls are only a year out, ensuring the console’s game selection won’t stagnate

Cons:

- Though upgrading is possible, and even cost effective in all other respects, I must point out that Microsoft charges far too much for the Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive, and the slightly cheaper workaround to this is just a hassle

- Console is known to have issues with overheating (covered w/free repair by Microsoft for 3 years, which softens the blow)

- Due to said overheating issue, an Xbox 360 Intercooler TS (the new, improved Intercooler which does NOT fry your console), and a fair bit of vigilance in not playing too long (I use the family timer), is necessary if you don’t wish to be sending this off to MS in a few months

- Amazon switched to an affiliate just around when I ordered and thus I received a Falcon 360 rather than Jasper. Very disappointed by this, as Jasper means cooler, more efficient chipset within the console, and as such, reduced chance of overheating issues. I went out of my way to read the reviews and make certain Jasper was a sure thing, and chose the Arcade unit over the Xbox 360 Elite Halo 3 Fable 2 Bundle for this very reason. I don’t blame Amazon, per se — they ran out of Arcade bundles and had to switch to an affiliate. Its just a really galling case of bad luck.

Conclusion: As it stands, I recommend new users strongly consider waiting to purchase this until 1) it’s sold directly from Amazon again, and 2) newer reviews confirm Jaspers are shipping again, unless, of course, you are willing to take a chance with an older model. Despite the cons, and my slight misfortune, I’m loving every second of my new system, and from a purely gaming perspective, highly recommend purchasing an Xbox 360. I just suggest doing it wisely and knowing the pitfalls in advance.

5 Stars New and improved arcade is wonderful!
The newer Xbox 360 arcade models that began production late 2008 and continuing now are built with a jasper chip inside that will keep the system much cooler and seem to have almost eliminate the possibility of a Red Ring Of Death. (RROD)

Included is also a new 175W power supply unit, as opposed to the old 200+W ones that are still out there burning up the old xbox systems.

You’ll notice that the arcade is MUCH quieter too, and a much more happy system. :D

I chose the arcade because it was a steal @ 155.00. Although it comes with INTERNAL flash memory only, you can always buy and attach a hard drive to the system. It also has HDMI, Ethernet port, and everything else the pro and elite have.

(Do take into consideration that you’ll need a hard drive to play original xbox games.)

Does the xbox you’re about to buy have a jasper chip? Read here to find out: [...]

5 Stars NOT Jasper for me!!
I feel obligated to review this: I bought this product on June 19, and i got a Falcon. My Power supply is 175w and other things that i checked were also for a Falcon, hopefully it wont give me the RROD error never! Beside this all is great, im very happy with my machine! It does NOT make a big noise while playing like i’ve read on other reviews! Its great! My gamertag is Joe UrruX lets FIFA09!

4 Stars Goog Service
Perfect State, Delivery at time. No Memory Card, the memory in this model is internal.

2 Stars Xbox 360 Arcade Console with Bonus Game

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars The controls make the game to difficult.
You know the graphics are really good and so is the gameplay but the controls kill the fun. They’re way to difficult and the crossover moves are very hard to execute. I don’t mind playing against a friend but playing against the computer is kinda frustrating and hard. The dunk contest isn’t so bad except the controls are hard to figure out. I think if you’re a fan of the NBA 2k franchise then you might still love it but if you’re a new comer like I am, it’s not exactly new user friendly.

1 Star Good graphics. Bad gameplay
I have been a fan of 2K sports since it has started, but I think NBA 2K9 is the worse out of the series. The CPU is nearly unbeatable and you can hardly get a shot off let alone make one. I have used all of the NBA teams and not one came to my liking. The graphics however are very good and very realistic. If you are looking for an NBA game for XBox 360, go somewhere else. This game really sucks!

2 Stars DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!
I bought this game because it was $20 at BestBuy and I had a gift card. When I first started playing it was fun but as I have kept playing with my friends the game gets worse and worse. I usually play with Boston and my friends with LA. Stuff in this game is COMPLETELY unrealistic and goes against all common sense in basketball or just in life. Kobe can’t hit a wide open 3 half the time. Same with Ray Allen. When you inbound the ball it’ll give it to a PG and then when you pass it’ll give the ball to a C or PF to take up the court. WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE!?!?! Or when I’m playing with Boston I’ll have Garnett as a C and he’ll be standing at the 3-point line. WTF IS A C DOING THERE?!?!?! They he’ll try to dribble it in. Also dunking completely sucks in this game half the time they’ll just try for a lay-up or a really crappy shot.

Even though I got this game for free I still feel ripped off. I will NEVER buy another NBA 2K game.

3 Stars Basketball’s Bells and Whistles with Little Substance
NBA 2K9 may have all of the bling the latest generation of fans want, but it certainly falls short of being the pinnacle of basketball video games. It has a lot of flash with its IsoMotion Pro, Association 2.0, Team 2K and other features. However, actual gameplay is bogged down with horrendous controls and frustratingly awful AI that make this nothing more than a mediocre title.

This game does score big point in terms of style. It is visually stunning and the development team has done a great job capturing each player’s signature moves. The arenas are spectacular and the play-by-play commentary is also top-notch. The replays and cut scenes are solid and hip hop fans should love the music.

Sadly, this game suffers in the substance department. It seems that its developers were trying to cram too much into the control system and ended up just creating a big mess. AI teammates and opponents are simply mindless drones that fill the court. This may be alright in football or baseball games, but basketball certainly suffers without fluid teamwork and easy controls.

NBA 2K9 may be the best basketball title for the Xbox 360, but it is far from a slam-dunk. It has the style and flair of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James that probably satisfies the latest generation of NBA fans. However, anyone looking for the quality of gameplay during the Larry Bird and Magic Johnson era will be hard pressed to find any resemblance of it in this game.

1 Star This game blows
This is a terrible game. To make the gameplay more realistic, they made the game slow, choppy and more unrealistic. Do not buy this P.O.S.

5 Stars Outstanding game
I may be a little jaded since I love football. I tried this game at Walmart, something I don’t normally do and it convinced me to purchase an Xbox 360 so I could play it. This is an outstanding game, pretty close to watching the Pros play on TV. AWESOME!!. The only complaint that I have so far is that the running backs run straight up and seem a bit slow, kind of unrealistic trotting around like little girls. Not hitting the holes very hard. However, the rest of the game makes up for that. If you would like to be the controller of real players, get this game. It rocks!!!! I guess I should mention that I have the Xbox hooked up using the HDMI cable to an LCD TV. With this setup it is truely realistic.

4 Stars Smiles and Adrenalin
Are those guys (and gals) seriously whining? I’ve been playing computer football longer than most of them have been alive. Seriously. I’m an older fart to most of you, but for those who say this game is just so-so. Get over yourselves, please?

I bought the XX anniversary edition for under thirty bucks. Nice deal. I read a gazillion reviews before opening it, because I own Madden ’02, ’05, and ’07 as well as 2K5. The reviews made me think about whether I wanted to return it and keep playing what I have to get my NFL fix during the off season, or “dive” in. I opened it. There goes that “option.” of “returning” it. The game play is miles above earlier versions of the game. The graphics – the lighting of the field – is magnificent. if you’ve ever played more than just from your sofa you’ll appreciate the scale of the players, the speed with which plays take shape and the subtle nuances.

The camera angles add the thrill of Sunday afternoon network football to your game-playing enjoyment. Could there be zebras on the field? Sure, that might be nice, and I hear it’s coming, But the refs purpose in a game is to be invisible to play anyway! So it’s actually nice that your eye doesn’t have to rule them out in the 3 -4 seconds you have to go through your checkoff and avoid a sack.

Heck, I could go on, but here’s the skinny. I’ve played the game. I’ve coached and scouted for high school and colleges on the east coast. I’ve played every kind of computer football game. This is a winner. If you want to buy this and skip ’10, don’t hesitate. I doubt that it’ll get much better in just one year. If you want to wait until late in 2010 to get the next version at a discount. Go ahead, but you’ll be missing out on tremendous fun. Madden ’09, and especially the anniversary version at a discount is an easy choice. You won’t regret it.

Note: Chris Collinsworth’s commentary is superb. It does as much for the game as Madden’s unique voice and style have done for the game in the past. This could be called Collinsworth ’09. I’ve had no freezes and barrels of fun.

4 Stars Madden 09
Madden 09 is once again madden. It doesn’t break any new boundaries. It’s fun to play if you like football. Madden 10 is coming out in about a month so i would just wait for it, but if you want to get a leg up on competition then go ahead and buy this to add to your collection

5 Stars Madden is Wicked!!!
Decided to upgrade from my Madden 98 and have not stop yet with this game. Keeps me alert and love the graphics that I was so used to. Just think I was never into football that much.

3 Stars Decent Football..
excuse my lateness, i was playing NFL 2K5 and All Pro 2k8 aka the Best Football Games of All Time ^_^ while Madden for the past 6 years has failed to deliver us This. they finally got it almost Right. this looks, feels and plays like actual NFL football, i was pleasantly suprised. the running game is spectacular and the tackle animations are Very realistic. if you are a Heavy passer, youv got your work cutt out for you. you cant just go Bombs Away…well…maybe sometimes :p but its all in the game. i actually enjoy it almost as much as i do the 2k brand football games and thats saying Alot.

…though at times, players dont extend their arms long enough to make certain catches that appear to be Right Over Their Head..which leads to balls being overthrown. sometimes, your linemen do a Terrible job of Blocking. if you get Sacked as SOON as you hike the ball, theres a problem. this doesnt happen ALL the time but enough times to make you wonder. there is a hickup here and there Online that can sometimes interfere with gameplay. and for some reason, the Atmosphere of the game is somewhat Boring. not enough crowd participation?? terrible commentary? something in the Audio field is just Missing. the stadiums lack Personality..but overall, i cant complain, the gameplay is decently tight.

the Superstar mode is the one thing that kept me interested in it. you pick a player and start a career playing just as that player. you do interviews, workouts, practices with the team, ect. its a very personalized mode…and this was also in NCAA Football by EA Sports. this is a mode that will definitely raise your eyebrow in a good way.

overall, if your a 2k fan, your not missing anything, 2k5 gameplay is still KING of football over Madden Every Day. but if your curious, check it out for the Superstar mode…or just wait for Madden 2010.

iLL .

5 Stars Best Controller, Best deal.
The product itself is the best purchase you can ever get, the price is great and on top of that you have great service, fast delivery dates and safe and secure packaging to protect it during the delivery process. This is a great purchase.

5 Stars Works
Works perfectly. I bought this to use for a 360 that had problems synchronizing with Wireless Controllers, and there have been no problems with it.

5 Stars Very good gamepad for the pc
I bought another one of these for another computer, because I enjoyed the last one for my main. Its a great gamepad to use for the games 4 windows labeled games, also for the non labeled games too.

I just wish it was a tad smaller.

5 Stars Quality
I bought this controller for my PC, mainly to use for grand theft auto 4. I have found it to work on my other games as well. The controller feels well made. I would buy it again.

1 Star Crashed my computer?
This is simply the greatest controller a PC user can use. I simply plugged it in and downloaded the drivers were found and I installed them, and I was ready to go. I played DMC, Republic Commando, Splinter Cell, and then Halo. The controller is extremely comfy and It felt greating using rumble on Halo. After a couple hours of playing I turned off my computer. But then I turned it back around an hour later and it loaded up, said “autochk file not found: and then a BLUE SCREEN!!! then it turned itself off and then on again and repeated, so I had to turn it off myself to make it stop. (EDIT The cause was because of problem was the combo of the Hardware and the OS (XP.) However, I do not know what it won’t work on, so it is safest to just not try it at all.END OF EDIT) Now I can’t use it for a long time, and the controller was the only bit of software I downloaded that day, so it was the only possible problem. Oh well. It was a great controller while it worked.

EDIT: Now I tried it on a Vista and it works great, played for over an hour, didn’t crash. Great now, but don’t risk it!!
